A little about me, and why I'm doing this.

I do enjoy sharing the circumstances and events that occur to me on my Road Trips, but mostly...

I want to share what's inside me... my emotions, my intuitions, and my dreams...

With the hope of distracting and encouraging you to think outside the box.

We all need to be distracted and encouraged once in a while, don’t we?

If this distraction also brings enjoyment or entertainment to you… It will make me happy.

I hope you decide you want to get to know me.

I hope you decide you want to get to know me.
I would love to get to know you!

The Last Adventure... (of 2009): Day 11- 235 words

Monday 12/28/09

5:15am - Ned up.  When we checked in the night before, I'd noticed that the motel had an 'internet available' sign, but I didn't notice that it didn't say 'free'.  Catching up on my emails and live journal posts & comments was gonna hafta wait at least one more day.

It was about 425 miles to get home, and G and I had both agreed that we'd prefer to make the trip in two short days, rather than one long one.  Neither of us is ready for this adventure to be over yet.

6:45am - I woke G up and we had a nice talk about sexuality… in general, and specifically.  Yes that's right… even when we're not doing it… we talk about it.

11:00am - We did a short sidetrack out to the end of the spit at the Eureka/ Arcata Bay, the "Most dangerous port on the California coast."

Had a late breakfast (chef's salad for me), and then followed Hwy 101 inland along the Eel River to Leggett, where we turned west on Hwy 1 to Westport.  We didn't even have to get out of the truck to take this picture.

When we got to the coast we followed it south to Gualala, and spent the night there, and watched our last sunset of the trip from our room overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
